Project Update : June 2021

Tom Lonsdale shares his second project update, recently filmed on site. Tom has been commissioned by Sheerness Dockyard Preservation Trust to create update video’s showing the progress of the site on 6 monthly intervals.

The second of Tom Lonsdale’s video’s was filmed during the visit from National Lottery Heritage Fund director for London & South East, Stuart McLeod.

Another recent event held by Sheerness Dockyard Preservation Trust was an online presentation, ‘Rising From The Ashes - Restoration Of The Dockyard Church’ hosted by trust Chair Will Palin, Hugh Broughton from Hugh Broughton Architects and conservation architect, Martin Ashley of Martin Ashley Architects.

The talk shared with the audience and viewers some fascinating insights of the historic fabric of the church structure and heritage aspects of the project as a whole.
