Project Update: Project forges ahead as roof and tower near completion.

There has been tremendous progress on site with roof construction and the rebuilding of the clock tower now nearing completion.

Project Update : August 2021

This summer has seen excellent progress on site, with the external brickwork now repaired and repointed, the restored parapet now almost complete and the interior ironwork cleaned and painted. Work on the tower will resume in mid September, with all the replacement stonework and other materials now on site.

Project Update : June 2021

Tom Lonsdale shares his second project update, recently filmed on site. Tom has been commissioned by Sheerness Dockyard Preservation Trust to create update films taken from the progress of the site on 6 monthly intervals.

Project Update : Rebuilding of the parapet - Phase 1 : the brick core

This update includes photographs of the tower and church interior where late Victorian floor tiles have been uncovered beneath a layer of concrete, and also a video tour with contractors explaining some of the proposed render finishes.
